 MEMORY VERSE

 MESSAGE
Wrong use of the tongue can be so destructive that it can forever severe one's link with the Saviour in a situation such as blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. May this never be your portion in Jesus name. However, avoid everything that attracts you into sin as they are targeted at breaking your link with the Vine. Just feeding your eyes lustfully for a few minutes on pornographic materials and websites could have the end result of breaking the tree-branch relationship that exists between Jesus and you. At the first Holy Communion service with the disciples, the Lord said,
 “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:28
 In other words, He was saying that if you have been detached from the Vine and already withering, when you reconcile with God and receive the blood, you will be revived. The blood is so powerful that it can flush out every stranger hibernating in your body.
Matthew 15:13 says, “But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
 The doctors will tell you that one reason you bleed after cutting your skin is because the body system recognizes that once there is an opening in the body, strangers can come in; so the blood rushes out to prevent strangers from coming in. Is there any contamination in your system? It shall be uprooted. Every virus, germ or bacteria hibernating in your system shall die and be flushed out as you partake of the blood of Jesus Christ made available through the Holy Communion. Revelation 12:11 says the blood of Jesus can give you victory over the devil. As you partake of the Holy Communion, key into it in faith and receive your victory over forces of darkness. As soon as the sick branch is healed, it begins to bear fruit again (John 15:5). Are you a sick branch? Or have you become detached through compromising with sin? Repent from your heart, dump that sin that broke you away from the Vine and reconnect today. If you are not yet born-again, it means you have never been connected to the Lover of your soul. Confess your sins, forsake them and invite Jesus Christ into your heart and confess Him as your Lord. As you do so, you will be attached to the Vine.

 ACTION POINT
 The blood of Jesus is under utilised by believers today. Apply this blood on every area of life, using it to attack every opposition you are facing.

Newborn Chinese baby rescued alive from toilet pipe

Firefighters received a call from a landlady of a block of flats in eastern China aying that she thought a baby was trapped in a toilet pipe in the building as she had heard it cryingon Saturday afternoon.Firefighters had to remove the pipe and take it to a nearby hospital, where doctors carefully cut around it to rescue the baby boy inside.more pictures after the cut

TB Joshua banned from hosting revival in Ghana

Ghanaian authorities have temporarily banned the Ghana branch of TB Joshua's Synagogue Church of All Nation from hosting revivals, days after four people were killed and 13 more injured in a stampede during a church service on Sunday May 19th. 

Tousands of people flocked to the church after church officials announced that holy water would be distributed. During the rush for the anointed water, three men and one man lost their lives after being trampled over.

Ghanaian authorities said the stampede could have been avoided if the church had used a bigger venue. The church is no longer allowed to hold revivals at their Spintex Auditorium in Accra.

PDP suspends Gov. Amaechi

The crisis between the leadership of the People’s  Democratic Party and the Governor of Rivers State, Mr.Rotimi Amaechi assumed a new dimension on Monday when the governor was suspended from the party.

A statement issued by the National Publicity Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh in Abuja, said the action was taken after an emergency meeting by members of the National Working Committee of the party.

The meeting, he said, was held on Monday.

He said the NWC at the meeting, considered petition written by the Rivers State chapter of the party against the governor for violating some sections of the party’s constitution.

Metuh said the  governor was suspended “for violating Articles 58 1 (b), (c ), (h) and (m) of the PDP Constitution following his refusal to obey the lawful directive of the Rivers State Executive Committee to rescind his decision dissolving the elected Executive Council of Obiokpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.”

Metuh aid his case was being referred to a disciplinary committee of the party.

Our correspondent reports that the NWC is searching for members of the Disciplinary Committee that will hear the case against him.

The committee may be inaugurated later today.

Panic spread on the Internet as word about Arthur Budovsky Belanchuk’s arrest reached users of his digital currency business Liberty Reserve, which was shut down on Thursday.
Budovsky, 39, was arrested on Friday in Spain as part of a money laundering investigation performed jointly by police agencies in the United States and Costa Rica. U.S. officials likely will seek his extradition.
Costa Rican prosecutor José Pablo González said Budovsky, a former U.S. citizen and naturalized Costa Rican of Ukrainian origin, has been under investigation since 2011 in Costa Rica for suspected money laundering using apparent shell companies he created to run Liberty Reserve.
Budovsky relocated to Costa Rica after he and partner Vladimir Kats were indicted on July 27, 2006, in New York on charges of operating an illegal financial business, GoldAge Inc. – a precursor to Liberty Reserve – from their Brooklyn apartments, according to the U.S. Justice Department. U.S. officials said the two had transmitted at least $30 million to digital currency accounts worldwide since beginning operations in 2002.Check more after the cut

Kim Kardashian, who has been heavily criticised for her often unflattering maternity wear, managed to look chic on Friday night, her dress proved to be somewhat of a hazard.

The 32-year-old was stylish in a black maxi dress and white blazer as she headed out to dinner at La Scala restaurant in Beverly Hills on Friday, but she continued to stumble over the long frock as she walked.

The reality star looked down in concentration as she side-stepped the long dress, which kept getting tangled up with her feet.

Kim tried to remain composed throughout, keeping her posture as she elegantly used her feet to move the material to the side.

But finally she gave up and just held the dress up with her one hand as she walked into the restaurant, no doubt relieved to have made it there without tripping.
